Whenever I am in Loveland, I have to go here and have the enchilada Chil plate. The rice and beans are just perfect. Lots of cheese and the chili and the chicken enchilada is always top notch. Love their green sauce. I saw today that they are open seven days a week now. No Tuesday closing. If you're ever out this way, check it out. They have the best flan I've ever had!
Enjoy the authentic Mexican food and bring my visitors here. Generous portions, good margaritas, clean and well lit. Sure, it gets busy and a high proportion of Spanish speakers, specially at lunch they pile in and I always take this as a great indicator of the food quality.
While I will admit up front I am not qualified to say what "authentic" Mexican food is, I am quite experienced at trying Mexican restaurants in Colorado. This place is right up near the top. I typically stick with burritos and street tacos but they have a large variety. Everything I've had here is excellent. Good portions, great flavors and decent prices. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I'm lucky to have a small restaurant like this just minutes from my house and will continue to return regularly. Try it.
